Why Do I Do Things That I Don’t Want To Do

I don’t know about you, but every day I do things that I don’t want to do.

I do it intentionally.

Purposely.

Consistently.

I don’t want to evaluate every session with my client,
but I do.

I don’t want to get up in the morning to do the job while my family is still sleeping,
but I do.

I don’t want to listen to hypnotic recordings in the evening, especially when I’m tired,
but I do.

I don’t want to write posts in advance,
but I do.

I don’t want to plan what to eat to stick to my diet without sugar and meat,
but I do.

I don’t want to correct my child every time when he’s mean or breaks the rules,
but I do.

I don’t want to monitor my finances and explain every doubt with the accountant,
but I do…

I don’t want to do this because I’d rather be doing something else.

Watching something on YouTube instead of evaluating my own video.

Or lying down on my sofa instead of registering invoices into the system.

But I do all of that and many more things that I don’t want to do because I care about the results.

Because I’m committed and focused on goals that matter to me.

Because I have made a promise to myself to do it.

And do you know what I’ve noticed?

  1. I like myself for doing that.
  2. Because I remain true to myself.
  3. And because I feel it empowers and develops me.

And that’s why I will continue to do what I don’t want to do 🙂

How about you?

What don’t you do that, if you were doing it, would bring you the results you want so badly?

Have a nice Wednesday
